In line with the vision to foster institutional excellence and enhancing employee professional skills, the Directorate of HR is organising a formal training program on “Crafting Professional Emails: Etiquette for Impactful Digital Communication” on November 12, 2025, at V101 – Database and Information Systems Lab, Level 1, Vikram Sarabhai Block.
The program is open to Junior Executives, Executives, Senior Executives, and Assistant Managers. If you are interested in enhancing your email writing skills and learning how to craft impactful and professional digital communications, please contact your Deans/Directors. The nomination closes on November 08, 2025.

- The Basics of Professional Email Communication (Subject, Body, Closing and Signature)
- Understanding whom to include in To, CC and BCC
- Tone and Language – Formal Vs Informal
- Balancing Clarity with Brevity
- Salutation – How to address different target audience
- Professional follow-ups on academic requests
- Timelines for responding to emails – (Urgent Vs not urgent)
- Handling sensitive communication (records, disciplinary issues)
The program will be conducted by Mr Sampath, a seasoned Organizational Development (OD) and Learning & Development (L&D) professional with over 25 years of experience in talent and leadership development, change management, and organizational development. He specializes in designing strategic OD initiatives that strengthen workplace culture, and improve employee performance, and support business growth.
