SRM University-AP‘s Teaching Learning Center (TLC) is organising a comprehensive “5-Day Training Programme for Newly Joined Faculty Members” from June 8 to June 12, 2026. The week-long induction programme will take place at the ALC-I, Level III, Homi J Bhabha Block, aiming to equip incoming educators with the essential pedagogical skills and institutional insights required to excel in modern academia.
The training schedule features a distinguished lineup of expert resource persons, including prominent academic leaders from IIT Madras alongside internal senior faculty and administrators from SRM AP. Over the course of five days, interactive sessions will broadly focus on enhancing teaching outcomes through Outcome-Based Education (OBE), active learning methodologies, and effective student engagement strategies.
Additionally, the cohort will explore contemporary academic tools, covering the integration of AI in university education, research funding pathways, and technology-enabled services. The programme will conclude with practical demonstrations and peer assessments, reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to faculty development and rigorous quality assurance standards.
