The Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at SRM University-AP, in collaboration with leading national and international academic institutions, research organisations, and industry partners, is hosting “Water Elixir Meet 2027 (WE Meet 2.0): An International Conference”. As a flagship international gathering, the conference serves as a global multidisciplinary platform bringing together scientists, academicians, researchers, engineers, industry experts, policymakers, and young innovators. The initiative focuses on addressing critical challenges in water science, environmental management, climate resilience, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable water security in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
WE Meet 2.0 explores recent advancements in water quality monitoring, aquatic biogeochemistry, hydroinformatics, digital water technologies, membrane science, desalination, wastewater treatment, resource recovery, and circular water economy. Special emphasis is placed on integrating emerging smart technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), remote sensing, and digital twins, to develop resilient and sustainable water management strategies. By facilitating active dialogue between academia, government agencies, and industry, the conference aims to accelerate the translation of scientific research into practical solutions for global water sustainability.
Key Objectives
