The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SRM University-AP, is organising a co-teaching online workshop on “Types of Learning with an Emphasis on Reinforcement Learning” on Sunday, September 21, 2025. The workshop is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of different types of learning in Artificial Intelligence, with a special focus on reinforcement learning and its real-world applications.
The sessions will be conducted in two parts to accommodate all participants:
Session 1: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM IST for III B.Tech CSE students (Sections A to M).
Session 2: 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM IST for III B.Tech CSE students (Sections N to Z).
The workshop will be delivered by Dr Zeeshan Akhtar, Lead Research Engineer at SLK Software. Dr Akhtar will share his expertise on machine learning paradigms, reinforcement learning techniques, and their role in developing intelligent systems. His insights will help students connect theoretical concepts with practical applications in the industry.
The workshop will also emphasise interactive learning, giving students the opportunity to engage with the speaker and clarify their doubts, thereby deepening their knowledge of this transformative area of Artificial Intelligence.
