SRM University-AP, Amaravati, in collaboration with Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) and IBM Quantum, is set to host a high-impact technical workshop titled “Designing the Future: 100 Advanced Quantum Algorithms on Real Machines” .
This workshop is a significant step towards accelerating real-world quantum computing applications, aligning with the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s vision of positioning Andhra Pradesh and India as global leaders in frontier technologies. The initiative aims to develop 100 practical quantum algorithms on IBM’s 133-qubit quantum system by October 2026, creating a strong pipeline of deployable solutions across sectors.
The workshop will bring together eminent experts from IBM Quantum, academia, government, and industry to deliver hands-on sessions and deep technical insights. Key focus areas include Hamiltonian simulation, quantum system modelling, error mitigation techniques, advanced transpilation, and real-world use case development.
Distinguished speakers include global experts such as Dr Nick Bronn, Dr Ritajit Majumdar, Dr Debasmita Bhoumik, and other leading researchers from IBM Quantum, alongside policymakers and academic leaders. The sessions will cover cutting-edge topics ranging from quantum simulation and noise reduction to compilation techniques for large-scale quantum systems.
The event is expected to foster cross-sector collaboration, bringing together academia, startups, and industry to build a robust quantum innovation ecosystem. It will also contribute to strengthening India’s quantum technology roadmap while positioning Amaravati as a national hub for quantum research and innovation.
