The Department of Biological Sciences is conducting an Expert talk on “Ayurveda: The traditional knowledge systems and it’s scope in integrative medicine” by Dr Guruprasad Aggithaya, MD- Ayurveda, Consultant at Institute of Applied Dermatology, Kasaragod, Kerala.
The lecture will explore Ayurveda as the traditional, holistic Indian system of medicine and how it provides a framework to treat chronic lifestyle diseases and mental health disorders. The session will also delve into the key difference of approach between traditional and integrative medicine.
