The Department of Environmental Science and Engineering is organising an online Faculty Development Programme on Research Pedagogy and Supervisory Training from November 10, 2025 to December 06, 2025.
This FDP is designed to update educators and researchers on research pedagogy and supervisory training for science and technology from the fundamental and advanced levels. The program contains applied linguistics in teaching and research for addressing research-based teaching on doctoral supervision, feedback-analysis, rubric practicing for student guidance on educational and research development; impending to outcome based learning; individual study plan and development of design of experiment; addressing gender, cultural and knowledge disbalance and gap between technology; student supervision as a teaching method; research-based education to create a new generation scientific workforce; feedback, planning and implementation, and of supervision; use of rubrics reflected on supervisory practices together with outcome-based learning in collaboration with peers and third-cycle doctoral students.
