Bioeconomy, Biorefinery & Sustainability GoalsThe Department of Environmental Science & Engineering at SRM University-AP is organising an expert talk titled “Bioeconomy, Biorefinery & Sustainability Goals” as part of its Guest Expert Lecture Series – 2026. The session features Prof. Mohammad J. Taherzadeh, Expert in Bioprocess Technology and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at Millow AB, Sweden, as the resource person.

The lecture explores the future of sustainable biotechnology, addressing key technical developments in converting lignocellulosic biomass and implementing advanced pretreatment techniques. Discussions will also cover applications in fungal biotechnology and process pathways for second-generation (2G) bioethanol production in support of global sustainability goals.
