The Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its Innovation Cell, launched the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) in 2018 in collaboration with AICTE to systematically foster a culture of innovation across Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) nationwide. The IIC Regional Meet is an annual flagship event that celebrates and showcases the accomplishments of institutions, innovators, and startup founders who are contributing to India’s growing innovation ecosystem.
The third edition of the IIC Regional Meet will be held on an expanded and grander scale, bringing together the achievements of over 16,000+ HEIs across the country. Designed as a powerful platform for engagement, knowledge exchange, and networking, the Regional Meet enables IIC institutions to share best practices and experiences, further advancing the national innovation agenda.
For 2025, the Regional Meet will be conducted in three phases—on 25th November, 28th November, and 2nd December 2025—across 26 locations nationwide. SRM University-AP is proud to host the Regional Meet on 2nd December 2025.
YIC & APF Showcase and Evaluation at SRM University-AP
As part of the Regional Meet, SRM University-AP will host more than 150 innovators and startups shortlisted through the Yukti Innovation Challenge (YIC) 2025 and the AICTE Productization Fellowship (APF) 2025.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Exhibit their innovations at the Product Expo beginning in the morning
- Receive expert mentoring and guidance
- Pitch their innovations in the second-round evaluation, scheduled from 2:00 PM onwards
This event provides a high-impact platform for innovators to gain visibility, validation, and expert feedback to strengthen their entrepreneurial journey.
