The Directorate of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at SRM University-AP, in association with the Ministry of Education, is organising the “Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2026)”. The hackathon aims to encourage student teams to innovate, collaborate, and solve real-world challenges.
The event serves as the internal selection round for students preparing to participate in the national-level Smart India Hackathon 2026.
Team Requirements
- Team Size: Exactly 6 students per team.
- Diversity Rule: Every team must include at least 1 female team member per SIH guidelines.
- Composition: Cross-disciplinary teams mixing academic streams and years are encouraged, but all 6 members must belong to SRM University-AP (inter-college teams are not allowed).
- Communication: Every team must designate one member as the team leader for all official communication.
- Team Naming: The team name must be unique and cannot contain the institute’s name.
