The Department of Mathematics has organised to celebrate National Mathematics Day on December 11, 2025. On this occasion, the department will conduct two talks, fun and constructive math activities for school students from neighbouring schools.
The event will feature two lectures:

Title of the Talk: Partition functions and Ramanujan’s work

Speaker: Prof. Jayasree Subramanian, Associate Professor, Dept. of Mathematics
Title of the talk: “Maryam Mirzakhani: A Mathematician and a Woman of Many Firsts”
Time: 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM
