The Department of Mathematics is celebrating Pi Day on March 14, 2026, to raise awareness about the importance of mathematics and its role in shaping our world, as well as to promote the beauty and relevance of mathematics.
The event will feature two sessions from the faculty members of the Department of Mathematics. Dr Sazzad Ali Biswas will deliver a session titled “Beyond 3.14: Why π Matters in Mathematics and Life” and Dr Ranjana Mehtawill deliver a session titled “The Theorem Tales”.
