The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is organising “Quantiverse 2026: Hands-on Quantum Computing”, a half-day online workshop in collaboration with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) on February 26, 2026.
The objective of this workshop is to introduce participants to the foundational principles of quantum computing and provide practical exposure to quantum simulation platforms. The sessions will combine conceptual understanding with hands-on experience using Q# (QSharp), QSim Noisy Simulator, and the Qniverse platform.
The sessions will be delivered as follows:-
- Introduction to Quantum Computing – Dr Jitendra Joshi, Knowledge Associate, C-DAC Pune
- Hands-on: Introduction to QSim Noisy Simulator – Mr Girish Belani (C-DAC
- Hyderabad)
- Hands-on: Introduction to Qniverse Platform – Mr Raja Singh Yadav, Knowledge Associate, C-DAC Bengaluru
The workshop will benefit students, faculty members, and research scholars by bridging theoretical learning with practical implementation in emerging quantum technologies. This initiative aims to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and enhance skill development in the domain of quantum computing.
