The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organises “Solar Rooftop Ideathon: From Awareness to Adoption” on April 13, 2026. The main objective of the Ideathon is to develop innovative and scalable solutions that simplify, promote, and enhance awareness of rooftop solar schemes, enabling informed decision-making and wider adoption across diverse communities.
Winners of the Ideathon will be awarded Cash Prizes:-
- 1st Prize – ₹15,000
- 2nd Prize – ₹10,000
- 3rd Prize – ₹5,000
- 5 Consolation Prize – ₹1000 each
Dr Tarkeshwar Mahto, EEE, SRM AP and Mr Uday Gopal Cherukuri, Regional Coordinator & Consultant, FSEFI, India are the convenors of the event. Dr Ramanjaneya Reddy U, EEE, SRM AP and Dr Somesh Vinayak Tiwari, EEE, SRM AP are the co-convenors of the Ideathon.
