SRM University–AP is set to host the golden jubilee edition of the All India Sociological Conference (AISC) titled, Mobilities and Inequalities; Shifting Contexts and Changing Paradigms, organised by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Easwari School of Liberal Arts and Indian Sociological Conference (ISS). The three-day conference will bring together eminent sociologists, academicians, policymakers, and research scholars to engage in critical discussions, paper presentations, plenary sessions, and panel discussions on contemporary social issues.
The conference aligns with the university’s vision of fostering critical thinking, research excellence, and socially engaged scholarship. In addition to academic sessions, the conference will facilitate special sessions and commemorative events highlighting the evolution of sociology in India.
