The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is organising a workshop on Designing with FPGAs. The one-day hands-on Workshop will cover key topics such as :
- Understanding Chip Design with FPGAs
- Prototyping and Computer Architecture using the Gem5 Simulator: First Steps in Research
- Programming BASYS3 FPGA Development Kits: COA Course Lab
The Primary objective of the event is to provide a comprehensive introduction to digital design through the use of Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and is meticulously tailored for individuals specialising in Computer Science Engineering. The workshop aims to catalyse and propagate scholarly research initiatives within the multifaceted domain of computer architecture and enhance the introduction of complex digital designs through the application of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).
The workshop will be led by resource persons- Dr MD Najlur Islam, Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Dr Adusumilli Vijaya Bhaskar and Dr Balijabudda Venkata Sreekanth, Assistant Professors from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM University-AP. Their expertise will offer an enriching experience to all the participants.
We look forward to your active participation.
