DESCRIPTION:The Teaching Learning Centre is organising a five-day Training Programme on Teaching Learning Methods from July 14 – 18\, 2025. The training programme will explore OBE Classroom communication\, highlight student-centric education\, formulate active learning strategies and implement project-based technology-enabled learning. \nConducted by the experienced leadership and faculty of the university\, the sessions will cover key aspects of pedagogy including Classroom management\, designing course plan and plan of action\, understanding student requirements and maintaining data drives. \nThe details of the resource persons and session plan are given below.

DESCRIPTION:The Department of Mechanical Engineeringat SRM University-AP is organising a Guest lecture titled “Understanding Microphysics of Raindrops for Accurate Rainfall Forecasting.” Prof. Kirti Chandra Sahu from the Department of Chemical Engineering- Indian Institute of Technology\, Hyderabad\, will deliver the session. \nAbout The Speaker: \nProf. Kirti Chandra Sahu is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT\, Hyderabad\, India. His research focuses on clouds and raindrops\, interfacial flows\, and hydrodynamic instabilities. He has received several prestigious recognitions\, including the Young Scientist Awards from the Indian National Science Academy and the National Academy of Sciences\, and the VASVIK Award. He is a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Physics (UK). Prof. Sahu also serves as an Associate Editor for Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research and is on the editorial board of Langmuir. He is currently a member of the External Affairs Committee of the American Physical Society & Division of Fluid Dynamics (2024–2026). \nJoin us for an insightful session with Prof. Kirti Chandra Sahu.
