DESCRIPTION:SRM University-AP hosts the biennial International Conference on Materials Genome (ICMG)\, started in 2018 at SRM University-AP\, India\, the International Conference on Materials Genome (ICMG) has established itself as a premier biennial forum under the aegis of the Asian Consortium on Computational Materials Science (ACCMS). The conference focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical calculations and experimental techniques to accelerate the discovery of novel materials. \nThe primary objective of the conference is to foster collaborations among theoreticians\, experimentalists\, and industry professionals by facilitating the exchange of ideas and research findings through poster and oral presentations. The conference will highlight the current status\, future plans\, and prospects in the field\, covering recent developments in first-principles calculations\, experimental techniques\, materials databases\, and machine learning for materials science. \nThe conference will witness over 100 invited speakers from across the globe\, the event also feature keynote speakers – Prof. D D Sarma from IISC Bangalore\, India and Prof. Stefano Sanvito from Trinity College Dublin\, Ireland. The 2026 event will feature a special session celebrating the legacy of Prof. Tanusri Saha-Dasgupta\, Director of the S. N. DESCRIPTION:Paari School of Business is organising a pre-event guest talk titled “Driving India’s Digital Payments Revolution: Ecosystem\, Technology\, Risks\, and Policy” on 19 February 2026\, aimed at preparing students and faculty for deeper engagement with India’s rapidly evolving digital finance landscape.\nThe session will introduce participants to key themes shaping India’s digital payments ecosystem\, including technological innovations\, regulatory frameworks\, cybersecurity concerns\, and policy developments.\nThe talk will be delivered by Dr Srinivas Yanamandra\, Professor of Practice at Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT). Drawing on his expertise in banking technology and financial systems\, he will provide insights into how digital payment infrastructure is transforming financial inclusion\, consumer behavior\, and institutional practices in India.The talk is designed to help attendees build contextual understanding ahead of upcoming academic and industry engagements\, while also offering an opportunity to interact with a domain expert and explore career and research perspectives in fintech\, digital banking\, and financial policy.
