The talk is titled “Synthetic Biology: From Design Principles to the Dark Matter of the Genome.” \nThe lecture will explore the evolution of synthetic biology\, from its foundational principles of designing and engineering biological systems to its emerging focus on the unexplored regions of the genome\, often referred to as “genomic dark matter.” It will shed light on how these underexplored genetic elements can unlock new possibilities in enzyme discovery\, therapeutics\, antimicrobial development\, and industrial biotechnology. \nThe session aims to provide deep scientific insights into next-generation biological engineering and inspire researchers to explore novel frontiers in genomic science.
