SUMMARY:DroidCraft: Hands-on Workshop on Android App Development
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Computer Science & Engineering\, SRM University–AP\, presents DroidCraft: Hands-on Workshop on Android App Development\, a three-day immersive workshop designed to equip students with practical skills in building functional\, scalable\, and production-ready Android applications. \nScheduled from October 12–14\, 2026\, the workshop will follow a project-based\, hands-on learning approach\, taking participants through the fundamentals and practical aspects of modern Android application development. Key areas will include AI-assisted Android development\, Jetpack Compose\, project development\, and app deployment. \nThe sessions will be conducted offline at SRM University–AP\, from 9:30 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00 PM–5:00 PM each day. Participants will also have the opportunity to compete for exciting prizes for top-performing projects. On-duty leave will be provided to eligible participants. \nThe workshop will be led by Mr Ramjee Gupta\, Senior Android & KMP Developer\, who brings over eight years of industry experience in Android development. \nThe workshop is open to SRM University–AP UG students from the second year onwards\, PG students\, and Ph.D. scholars. Participants are required to bring a laptop with a minimum of 8 GB RAM. \nRegistration deadline: October 11\, 2026\nRegistration is first-come\, first-served. Limited seats available (60)

Entrepreneurship is often defined solely by the launch of a new company. Yet\, reducing it to the singular act of starting a business overlooks a profound truth: the entrepreneurial spirit is fundamentally a way of thinking.
