The session will explore the “Role of Insulin-Regulated Transcription Factor FoxK1 in Males and Females” by our guest speaker\, Dr Prasanna Kumar Reddy Allu\, on October 12\, 2023. He will unravel the complexities of FoxK1\, a key player in the intricate machinery of insulin regulation\, and how its functions differ between males and females. \nLet’s delve into the captivating world of Molecular Biology. \nAbout the Speaker \nDr Prasanna Kumar Reddy Allu is a research scientist at Harvard Medical School\, USA. He has ten years of research experience in metabolism\, brown fat\, and cardiovascular research. Dr Kumar was ranked AIR-18 for Master of Technology (Biotechnology) in the Jawaharlal Nehru University Exam for Biotechnology conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University\, New Delhi and has received a Junior/Senior Research Fellowship from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) for pursuing Doctoral study. The American Heart Association (AHA) also awarded Dr Kumar a post-doctoral fellowship.
