SUMMARY:Webinar on Hardware Security
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is organising an online webinar titled “Hardware Under Attack: Building Trust and Security in the Silicon Era”. \nThis webinar focuses on the emerging challenges in hardware security and the growing need for trust in the silicon era. The session will explore hardware-level vulnerabilities\, attack vectors\, and techniques for safeguarding modern computing systems. It will also highlight secure hardware design practices and real-world applications\, enabling participants to understand the importance of building resilient and trustworthy systems. \nResource Person: Prof. Anirban Sengupta\nProfessor\, Department of Computer Science and Engineering\, IIT Indore \nAbout the Speaker \nProf. Anirban Sengupta is a Full Professor at IIT Indore with over 330 publications\, 16 patents\, and 6 books to his credit. He is a Fellow of the IET (UK)\, the British Computer Society (UK)\, and the IETE (India)\, and a Senior Member of IEEE. He has received several prestigious recognitions\, including the IEEE Chester Sall Memorial Award (2020) and multiple best paper and research awards. He has served in key leadership roles within IEEE societies and currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of IET Computers & Digital Techniques. He has held over 20 editorial positions in reputed IEEE\, IET\, and Nature journals and has been consistently ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University (2021–2024). His research expertise spans hardware security\, VLSI design\, and secure computing systems. \nCertificates will be provided to all registered participants who attend the session. \nRegister Now – https://forms.gle/dxEUpiMsHEWVcxrF9
