Dr Annapurna Mamidipudi\, Researcher at the Technical University of Berlin\, will speak on “Crafting Knowledge as Intellectual Property: Handloom Weaving in South India\,” highlighting the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and intellectual heritage. Prof. Niraj Upadhyay from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering will discuss the “Contribution of Indian Knowledge System in the Area of the Built Environment and Computing\,” offering perspectives on the influence of indigenous practices in modern technological frameworks. \nFurther enriching the symposium\, Prof. Jayaseelan Murugaiyan from the Department of Biological Sciences will deliver a talk titled “Importance of Knowing Thyself – Understanding Traditional Knowledge in the Modern Era!”\, focusing on the philosophical and scientific dimensions of traditional wisdom.
