DESCRIPTION:Have you ever been fascinated by the theatricality installed and demonstrated by art performances? Drawn by the intensity of sensations and layers of emotions built on the stage by artists? The Department of English is inviting renowned theatre artist and storyteller\, Mr Vikram Sridhar for a webinar on “Interpersonal Communication and Storytelling”. The webinar will be on January 04\, 2023. The session will expound on the intricate link between the art of storytelling\, inspired by traditional folklore\, and the cultural and ecological undertones in the stories and performances. He has spoken at multiple events on the power of stories and theatre like the TEDx and has been quoted in various media. He has extensively travelled the country performing and speaking at public spaces\, community libraries\, schools\, corporates\, business conferences\, and literary & cultural festivals for children and adults. He believes in the Desi way of Storytelling as a strong medium of conservation from nature to human relationships as his stories are rooted in folklore\, ecology and heritage inspired by various communities of the soil. \nJoin the talk for an enthralling session and learn to embrace the histrionics of theatre and the cultural nuances of our ancient art of storytelling!
