DESCRIPTION:Studying abroad provides ample opportunities for students to earn an internationally recognised certification in his or her field of interests. Pursuing academic interests internationally also allows the student to learn more about the different cultures and be exposed to a myriad of other things that might not be possible back home. The Directorate of International Relations and Higher Studies\, SRM University-AP in collaboration with IDP is organising an “Interaction with US delegates from Northern Arizona University” on May 05\, 2023. \nIDP India guides students and their families through the entire study overseas process – university/course selection\, submission of application\, assistance with the visa process and pre-departure planning. \nThe Delegates will provide an insight to students on various subject specialisations and will also prepare students for their stay in the US. \nAbout the Resource Persons \nProfessor Issac Shaffer – Associate Director for School of Informatics Computing and Cyber systems . He has deep interest in Programming and statistics both which he teaches \,with research interest in Bioinformatics. He will be speaking about the M S Computer Science Programme and the M S I T programme. \nDr Ryan Fitch – Assistant Professor of Economics – He has deep interest in Business Analytics and his research focuses on the economics of wildfire suppression and ecosystem services valuation. His line of study and research has led him towards remote sensing and the application of modelling techniques within geo-spatial applications. He will be speaking about the M S in Business Analytics Program. \nCesar Flores – Associate Vice Provost at the Center for International Education. He will be speaking about academic integrity and student success. \nDr Tarang Jain – PT\, PhD\, DPT is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training\, Northern Arizona University at Flagstaff with a PhD in Rehabilitation Science. he is the faculty advisor for the India Student Association of Northern Arizona and the Jacks Cricket Club. He will be speaking about Life in Flagstaff and preparing for your journey to the US. \nJoin the session and explore your possibilities!
