One can also include creation of new institutions or a set of rules to establish an organisation as an innovation. The process involves various actors and institutions at different stages of the process. Generally\, innovation ecosystem is used to describe innovation as a system and its interrelated elements. In this lecture I will use the term ‘culture of innovation’ as it is a much broader term that includes values and meanings that are attached to the processes and products of innovation. I will draw up on the cultures of innovation in three countries\, the USA\, China and India to discern how different actors with their knowledge and skill endowments\, and institutions – government\, legal and financial- contribute to the culture of innovation. At present\, sustainability and climate-resilience and equity are important values that must be endorsed and put into the process and products of innovation. \nAbout the Speaker \nProf. Haribabu Ejnavarzala is a treasure house of knowledge\, an academician with over 40 years of experience.
