DESCRIPTION:The Department of Commerce\, Paari School of Business is organising a Guest Talk on the “Role of Intellectual Property in Entrepreneurship” by Prof. B. Koteswararao Naik\, Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai. The talk will be held on April 21\, 2025\, at 12.00 PM – C503\, CV Raman Block. \nJoin the talk and understand how Intellectual Property is crucial for any startup\, providing essential protection for innovation and fostering a competitive edge \nAbout the Speaker \nProf. Naik hails from a hamlet in the Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh. He was born into an agricultural family and is a First-generation Educator. Prof. Naik has completed Chemical Engineering from Andhra University College of Engineering\, Visakhapatnam\, an MBA from the University of Hyderabad (UoH)\, and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) from IIT Delhi. \nHe started his career as an Assistant Professor with the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy in the year 2008. He specialises in the Management of Intellectual Property (IP)\, Technology & Innovation Management\, Techno-Entrepreneurship and Project Management. \nProf. Naik has published and presented more than 90+ Research Papers in various reputed Journals and Conferences. He has filed four patents in the Indian Patent Office and has two granted patents.
