DESCRIPTION:The Department of Biological Sciences is organising a two-day Indo-German Scientific Meeting (2026) bringing together antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research experts from the Freie Universität Berlin\, and faculty members of the department. \nDay one will have a panel discussion that focuses to create awareness on the dimensions and precautionary steps needed to be taken to contain any microorganisms. Day two shifts the focus on strengthening Indo-German research collaboration\, promoting academic exchange\, and identifying opportunities for joint projects and international funding. This initiative aims to provide meaningful exposure to various career pathways\, higher education opportunities in India and abroad\, emerging areas of research\, and the mentorship in shaping academic and professional journeys. \nThe series will begin with an inaugural session scheduled on February 28\, 2026\, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM\, to be conducted online. The theme of the first lecture is Discover Psychology: Perspectives in Health Psychology. This session will introduce participants to the expanding domain of Health Psychology\, highlighting its scope\, interdisciplinary relevance\, research advancements\, and professional opportunities in clinical\, academic\, and applied settings. \nProf. Manika Ghosh will be the speaker for this session.
