DESCRIPTION:The Department of Mechanical Engineering under the School of Engineering and Sciences is organising an industrial visit to Reliance Industries—KGD6 Oil & Gas\, Andhra Pradesh\, on March 22\, 2025. \nThe Industrial visit aims to provide the B.Tech and M.Tech students more hands-on experience and exposure to the oil and gas extraction business while also allowing them to observe firsthand the sustainable methods used in the sector. \nThe students will be accompanied by faculty members Dr Gurumurthy Kagita\, Prof. Prakash Jadhav\, Dr Satya Pramod Jammy\, Dr Chandan Kumar\, and Dr Supen Kumar Sah. \nGain insights on:- \n\nReal-time monitoring\, automation\, and control systems utilised in oil and gas operations\nPollution control measures\nInsights into the operational aspects of the oil and gas sectors\nTechniques for environmental management\n\nThe students will also have the opportunity to engage with experts from Reliance Industries-KGD6 Oil & Gas and understand the challenges in the oil and gas industries.
