SUMMARY:Department of Computer Science and Engineering to Host Webinar on Ph.D. Admissions 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM University-AP will host a webinar titled “Ph.D. Admissions 2026: Everything You Need to Know\,” designed to walk prospective scholars through the admission process\, eligibility\, fellowships\, and research opportunities available at the university. The session will be held online via Zoom on July 29\, 2026\, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. \nThe webinar will feature two sessions from CSE faculty. Dr V M Manikandan\, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering\, will open with “Why Pursue a Ph.D.? Building a Successful Research Career\,” addressing the motivations and mindset behind a research career. Dr Shaiju Panchikkil\, Assistant Professor in the department\, will then walk participants through the “Ph.D. Admission Process at SRM University-AP\,” covering the university’s specific eligibility criteria and application pathway. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact directly with the faculty and raise questions relevant to their own research interests. \nThere is no registration fee\, though registration is mandatory in advance.
