Entrepreneurship is often defined solely by the launch of a new company. Yet\, reducing it to the singular act of starting a business overlooks a profound truth: the entrepreneurial spirit is fundamentally a way of thinking. It is the capacity to identify opportunities\, navigate uncertainty\, and build meaningful value in any environment. This is the core theme driving the interactive session. \nThe starting point is the recognition of a critical gap: the perception that entrepreneurial ambition belongs only to tech founders and startups. The responsibility today is to broaden that definition. The pathways to entrepreneurial success are vast and varied. They run through existing corporate structures\, social ventures\, academic ecosystems\,\nand global institutions. True innovation thrives wherever there is a drive to solve problems and the resilience to transform an idea into reality. \nOn 13 October\, the conversation will shift from the mechanics of starting up to the mindset required for long-term impact. SUMMARY:PRARAMBH – Deep Dive: From Student Ideas to Market-Ready Startups
DESCRIPTION:PRARAMBH – Deep Dive is a three-day intensive startup development programme organised by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Innovation designed to take promising student ideas from problem identification and validation to stronger\, market-ready startup propositions. Bringing together 35 student startup teams and five experienced industry mentors\, the programme will provide a focused environment for learning\, mentoring\, one-to-one interactions\, pitch development and investment-readiness preparation. \nOver the past six months\, 35 student startup ideas from across various departments have been identified and progressively refined through expert guidance. The Deep Dive Workshop marks the next phase of this structured startup development journey\, enabling student founders to critically evaluate their ideas\, understand market opportunities\, strengthen their business models and develop practical pathways for growth. \nA Three-Day Journey of Learning\, Mentoring and Pitch Preparation \nDay 1 – Learn & Refine\nThe first day will focus on strengthening the fundamentals of each startup idea. Students will participate in expert-led sessions covering problem validation\, market understanding\, business models and essential aspects of startup development. The sessions will help teams revisit their assumptions\, understand customer needs and refine their value propositions. \nDay 2 – Deep-Dive Mentoring\nThe second day will provide intensive\, one-to-one and sector-specific mentoring interactions. Startup teams will engage directly with experienced industry mentors to identify key challenges\, evaluate their solutions\, explore market opportunities and receive actionable feedback to strengthen their business ideas. \nDay 3 – Pitch & Investment Readiness\nThe final day will focus on helping teams communicate their startup propositions with clarity and confidence. Students will work on developing effective elevator pitches and refining their presentations\, preparing their ventures for future incubation\, funding and investment opportunities. \nBeyond the Three-Day Workshop \nPRARAMBH – Deep Dive is the beginning of a longer-term pre-incubation and incubation journey. Following the workshop\, the 35 startups will continue through structured\, semester-wise entrepreneurship and incubation programmes until the 7th semester. \nThis continued support will enable student founders to progressively work towards idea and problem validation\, product development\, market understanding\, scalability and eventual market entry. The programme aims to create a structured pathway through which promising student ideas can evolve into sustainable and impactful ventures. \nBuilding the Next Generation of Student Entrepreneurs \nThrough PRARAMBH – Deep Dive\, students will have the opportunity to learn directly from industry experience\, receive personalised mentorship and develop the skills required to navigate the early stages of their startup journey. By combining structured learning with practical mentoring and pitch preparation\, the programme seeks to bridge the gap between a promising student idea and a viable entrepreneurial venture. \n

SUMMARY:IIC Regional Meet 2025 - Hosted by SRM University-AP
DESCRIPTION:The Ministry of Education\, Government of India\, through its Innovation Cell\, launched the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) in 2018 in collaboration with AICTE to systematically foster a culture of innovation across Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) nationwide. The IIC Regional Meet is an annual flagship event that celebrates and showcases the accomplishments of institutions\, innovators\, and startup founders who are contributing to India’s growing innovation ecosystem. \nThe third edition of the IIC Regional Meet will be held on an expanded and grander scale\, bringing together the achievements of over 16\,000+ HEIs across the country. Designed as a powerful platform for engagement\, knowledge exchange\, and networking\, the Regional Meet enables IIC institutions to share best practices and experiences\, further advancing the national innovation agenda. \nFor 2025\, the Regional Meet will be conducted in three phases—on 25th November\, 28th November\, and 2nd December 2025—across 26 locations nationwide.
