DESCRIPTION:The Department of Library is organising a Workshop on Scopus and Scival Databases titled “Strategic Research Planning using Scopus & SciVal Analytics” on March 23\, 2026. Ms Shivalika Verma\, Customer Success Manager and Dr Shubhra Dutta – Research Consultant\, will deliver the sessions at the workshop. \nThe workshop will help university scholars and faculty learn about new strategies and features of Scopus and SciVal databases to support their academic research\, track publications\, and enhance research visibility and impact. \nAbout Scopus Database: Scopus is a comprehensive abstract and citation database covering peer-reviewed literature\, including journals\, conference proceedings\, and patents across various disciplines. \nAbout Scival Database: SciVal is an analytics tool that provides insights into research performance using Scopus data\, enabling institutions to visualise trends\, benchmark impact\, and identify collaboration opportunities.
