DESCRIPTION:Women’s health and empowerment are key to advancing families\, communities\, and the nation\, aligning with the Vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. In alignment with “Swasth Nari\, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” launched by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare\, SRM University-AP is hosting a Women’s Health Drive organised exclusively for the female students at the university. This initiative is aimed at promoting awareness\, preventive care\, and overall well-being among young women. \nThe program will include a one-hour presentation and talk by Dr Himabindu Sakamari\, Head & Senior Consultant\, Obstetrics & Gynaecology\, Blossoms Mother and Child Hospital\, Vijayawada\, followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session. \nWe encourage all female students to take part in this initiative and benefit from the resources and guidance provided by medical professionals. \nYour health is your greatest asset—let’s take a step together towards a healthier future! \nAbout the Speaker \nDr Himabindu Sakamuri\, experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology with expertise in high-risk pregnancies\, obstetric ultrasound\, minimal access surgery and perineal repairs. She has previously worked as a Consultant at St. Theresa’s Hospital\, Hyderabad and BirthRight by Rainbow Hospital\, Hyderabad.
