SUMMARY:National Sports Day Ignites the Spirit of Competition
DESCRIPTION:In honour of legendary Major Dhyan Chand\, SRM University-AP organised a series of basketball matches on August 29\, 2018. Approximately 50 students participated in this thrilling event\, showcasing their skills and passion for the game. The matches were conducted in four groups\, pitting students against each other in friendly yet fiercely competitive encounters.  \nThe theme of the event\, “Sports are an enabler to an inclusive and fit society\,” resonated throughout the day. It highlighted the transformative power of sports in fostering inclusivity\, promoting physical fitness\, and nurturing a sense of community. The event served as a platform for students to come together\, engage in healthy competition\, and celebrate the importance of sports in our lives. \nThe spirited atmosphere and enthusiastic participation were a testament to the enduring legacy of Major Dhyan Chand.
