SUMMARY:Teaching Learning Center to Organise Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Training Programme for PSB & ESLA Faculty
DESCRIPTION:The Teaching Learning Center (TLC) at SRM University-AP is organising an intensive Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Training Programme for faculty members of the Paari School of Business (PSB) and Easwari School of Liberal Arts (ESLA) on May 15\, 2026\, at C-208\, Level II\, CV Raman Block. \nThe day-long programme aims to strengthen faculty understanding and implementation of Outcome-Based Education practices through interactive and hands-on sessions. The training will cover key aspects of the OBE framework\, including framing learning outcomes\, applying Bloom’s Taxonomy\, course outcome formulation\, articulation mapping\, rubric design\, and CO-PO attainment strategies. \nThe sessions will be conducted by Dr Maanvender Singh\, Assistant Professor\, Department of History\, and Dr Lakshmana Rao Ayyagari\, Associate Professor\, Department of Commerce. Through practical exercises and collaborative discussions\, participants will gain insights into designing effective outcome-oriented curriculum structures and assessment methodologies aligned with academic quality standards. \nThe programme is structured to help faculty members enhance curriculum planning\, learning assessment\, and pedagogical alignment\, thereby contributing to improved student learning outcomes and academic excellence. The hands-on training sessions are expected to provide participants with practical tools and frameworks that can be directly integrated into classroom teaching and evaluation practices.
