The university welcomes Ms Rayapati Sailaja\, Chairperson\, Andhra Pradesh State Women’s Commission as the Chief Guest\, Ms Indu S Menon\, General Manager\, Isuzu Motors India\, and Major Avinashi Patwal as the Guests of Honour. \nThis year the university celebrates Women’s Day on the theme – “Give to Gain”\, highlighting the importance of supporting\, empowering\, and uplifting women. The theme also emphasises the significance of investing for women’s growth and opportunities\, hence benefiting and progressing society. \nJoin and be part of this meaningful celebration as we come together to honour the spirit\, resilience\, and achievements of women.

DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh\, the University is taking a significant step towards strengthening India’s quantum ecosystem by establishing India’s 1st Quantum Reference Facility on our campus. \nThe facility\, the first of its kind at an Indian university is being established under the Amaravati Quantum Valley Project—a visionary mission positioning Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of deep-technology innovation. \nThe inauguration will take place on World Quantum Day\, April 14\, 2026\, by Chief Guest Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh\, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu. \nThis initiative reflects SRM AP’s progressive vision and commitment to building a robust\, future-ready quantum ecosystem through strong collaboration between government\, academia\, and industry. \nThrough the Quantum Reference Facility we will nurture the next generation of scientists\, engineers\, and innovators\, while contributing to the development of ‘Made in India’ quantum technologies. \nThe Amaravati Quantum Valley is not merely an initiative\, but a national promise—to establish Andhra Pradesh as a global hub for quantum innovation – and SRM University-AP\, serves as the first Academic Partner in this transformative endeavour.
